I just saw the most amazing thing in the whole world. It’s 1:30am where I am right now, and I, being a strapping young college boy, am awake watching TV.* While watching comedy central, I saw an add for a dating program. I was not shocked, since those and those Girls Gone Wild ads are basically all that’s available at this hour. Here’s what shocked me: the ad was for “Interactive Male: Gay Phone Chat”. This is unreal to me. I live in one of the most liberal places in the world and go to one of the most open schools in the country. I’m guessing that I’ve met more gay people in college than my parents know combined. Yet I never imagined seeing something like this. What happened to community standards? I guess they’ve changed, a little. Yeah, a little.
