I’ve been telling everyone I know to use Google Calendar. I used it ever day until I had to grow up. One reason I could make that step from old clunky Outlook was that I had a little tool called Remote Calendars, a plugin for Outlook. Grinn Productions has an easy to use explanation. Anyone who wants to use both services should do this right now.
There’s a project over at SourceForge called Remote Calendars which allows us to download our Google Calendars to Outlook 2003 at the click of a button. The installation is a bit tricky, so I’ll walk you through it and show you a few tricks along the way.

I think that a full blwon web app has its advantages and disadvantages, and for me it wasa too slow. This plugin gives me the best of both worlds, like Jay Z and R. Kelly
