It’s raining here in Seattle and, as you must know, Sunday is for softball. So I want to know whether the game is on, and I find a phone number on the league website: (206) 320-TEAM.
But I have an awesome Blackberry Pearl and the letter keys do not match up with the phone keypad. What to do? Well I happened to be on my computer, so I typed in a quick google image search which did the trick ((206) 320-8326) but still, what if I had not had my computer?
The problem interests me because no one is to blame, really. How did this crazy system arise where all phone keypads are the same? What about, you know, people who have different keypads on their phones (read: Kentaro Ikegami)? What about people that have sweet phones like mine?
I bet, though, that people keep using the damn system. They think it’s so clever. But it’s not. Not really.
