Stopped at Vinny’s house in Colorado Springs, where we met Mr. and Mrs. Vin. They cooked a nice steak dinner with potatoes and salad as we watched the Olympics. Phelps is so good at swimming.
Anyway, we had a few drinks though Seve didn’t since he was driving us to Denver that night. The night dragged on but we finally headed out the door at 10:30. I rode in with Seve and Greg went with Vinny. We got to kyli’s house, met her dad and hung out. Her dad owns a sports bar and is a dude’s dude it seems, so we drank in his basement and hung out. Around 2 I went to bed, and the others stayed up a while. The next morning we went to kyli’s mom’s house and had a fantastic breakfast of omelettes, toast, burritos, and some other stuff. I took a nap and we got on the road around 4.
Seve drove us North. He and I both noticed how fast time in the car goes now. He had been driving for an hour and it felt like we just left. I’m glad it feels so comfortable.
We stopped outside of Casper at an applebee’s for a quick bite before going out. Headed to Matt’s and got ready to go out.
