I got out here about 3 weeks ago now. I haven’t really updated anyone in a while so I thought I might spell it out now.
What can I say. I spent the first two weeks doing all the things you do when you move; I bought a bed, furnished my room, did stuff like that. It helped a lot having the sis out here with me, I can tell you that much. By night during those weeks I was out, doing big things, such as drinking and meeting people, as well as the occasional flirting with girls.
Speaking of girls, there may be one in my life. But that is a phone call, so there will be something you have to look forward to if we speak via phone.
Last week I started work. Not a whole lot happened for the first two or three days, just training and stuff like that. I met my manager and got my desk mostly set up, plus my email and all that by Friday. I haven’t actually done work yet, but I think that starts tomorrow. Not sure.
The roommates are doing well so far. No major disputes that I can think of. We are still working out the routine, and since we don’t have gas in our apartment still (don’t get me started on that), we haven’t really had a good chance to get set up. Now that I have started work, though, I think that might change. We will see.
This upcoming week is about starting work and finishing up the apartment set up. Then I guess real life starts, huh?
