Saw this new browser that is aimed at children aged 3-12, which aims to start kids on social networking. In case you just glossed over that,
there is a new browser which teachers your 3-year-old child how to use a social network
Now I consider myself cutting, as far as the internet and technology go. I often mock my mother (lovingly) for not liking her blackberry or computer. She says it is creepy that people these days are always connected. Well, if blackberries (1) creep her out, then I bet children on the internet will creep her out more. It sure scares me.

(1) What is the plural of a BlackBerry? Blackberries or BlackBerrys?

Neurotic?
Nice post, don’t know if I agree with the statement that Kidzui ushers children into social networking though. It’s more key word marketing imo, but nevertheless I think you’re right children have a very different approach to and utilize media more efficiently than we – “earlier generation’ do. It’s a true paradigm imo, one we have to deal with and not our children.
the plural of Blackberry is ADD
@ Alan
Now I understand the Blackberry Storm release
Bartel:
I admit that I didn’t bother to check the site. The idea that there is a vague line separating children and social networking scares me, more generally than just for this specific site.
