Credit where credit is due aka colophon

In publishing, printers often append a description of the technical details of their tools, which they call a colophon.  Now that the site design has settled down a little (don’t tell me you didn’t notice each and every change?), I thought I would give a little credit.

In the top right corner you see that email icon that looks like it fits with the other icon.  I got that at http://www.dyers.org/blog/archives/2007/09/25/free-as-in-beer-e-mail-subscription-icons/.

In upcoming posts, I plan on having citations as you would traditionally see them in a formal paper.  That way if you ever want to check my sources, which you should, you will know where to look.  For those citations, I will be using an add-in for Windows Live Writer available from http://dotnettemplar.net/Blog+Notes+Live+Writer+Plugin.aspx.

Lastly, I read a lot more than I write, and to share what I’ve written, I keep a list of the right side of this page.  That list was just highly improved by a widget I found at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/kb-advanced-rss-widget/.  I plan to make many more changes to the way that looks, but those are on the backburner for now.

Now it is back to enjoying the snow here.
